Outcomes, Inc. is a non-profit corporation founded in 1986 to serve the needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related conditions. It was originally developed to provide in-home waivered services to individuals who were living in their family homes. Recognizing the success of this program and the critical need for residential development, Ramsey County selected Outcomes to create a first of its kind home to serve individuals with ASD. By 1989 Outcomes developed a residential facility for young adults with ASD in Maplewood. (Previously, individuals severely disabled by autism and related conditions had been institutionalized.) In 1992 Outcomes opened a second home for children located in Vadnais Heights.

We believe that all people who have disabilities can be increasingly independent and actively involved in their communities. For over 20 years, Outcomes, Inc. has served the needs of many people with a variety of disabilities such as Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Bipolar Disorder, Angelman Syndrome, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Intermittent Explosive Disorder and significant developmental delays. Many of these individuals have presented significant behavioral challenges requiring extensive supports. It has been our solid commitment to provide individualized services which utilize positive behavior supports to teach functional communication and more adaptive behavior. We believe this approach is paramount to maintaining one’s dignity and quality of life.

Small business with tight knit family feel between clients and staff.
Wonderful place to work. If they were able to pay a better wage more people im sure would like to work at this establishment. Easy work, fun clients, and always a change of pace. You will feel fulfilled helping the clients around you reach their goals in life. The only bad things about this being such a small company are that the pay and benefits aren't that great.

Good Company
I like it at Outcomes because it is small and we all know one another. Sort of like family. Co-workers are helpful and we work together well. Management tries to show us their appreciation and also is willing to work side by side with us in the homes. It can be stressful at times, but I think most jobs can. It is rewarding to help the people we work with and when you see them succeed and do better...

Worst company to work for
This company will hire you but not tell you fully about the clients. Staff does what they want and the clients are not being attended to. Staff shows up when they want and management does nothing about it. I advice everyone do not apply here the clients will hit you all day and staff has to sit there and just let them do it. Great Place to Work
As a DSP, we are responsible for providing our clients with help in all of their daily living skills as well as community engagement. We bring them on appointments, make meals and bring them out on activities. Great co-workers that work well as a team. Management is involved and make employees feel appreciated.
