Muy lejos de donde vivo
I was laid off in Aug 2016, I was in the 1st group of people laid-off. After 6 yrs of dedication and hard work. I navigated through various departments & learned a number of skills, which I thought would be an asset to the company, Someone who could fill in for any department. Unfortunately they kept people with minimal skill set. So I know firsthand all about how they let “good” employees go. Unfortunate but in the end, they actually did me a favor
I retired from Owens and Minor in San Diego, 2010 ,with over 15 plus yrs as an administrative assistant, I enjoyed my job, great boss and teammates, the amenities were great, the pay and opportunities were great. It appears that the company has had a lot of changes and they do not sound all that good. Did they shut down warehouse in San Diego? with all the hospital's there would be surprising! I loved my job!
Poor training, no time for family, empty promises
The company has been laying off good people since around the middle of 2016. It also has been demoting people to try to push them out. So many good people are gone. The company is not doing well at all and is nothing like the great place to work that it used to be.
Tired of uneducated management.
No room to advance, had me doing many different jobs and weren’t getting paid for them
Better job of course
