Oyster Babies Early Childhood Centers are private, New York State licensed, centers located in Oyster Bay and Huntington, Long Island.

We offer a wide range of full and part-time programs for children, 6-weeks to 5-years old, from infant and toddler care to Nursery and Preschool.

Extended hours of care: 7:00am - 6:30pm at Oyster Bay and 6:30am - 6:30pm at Huntington Station, are offered year-round in all of our programs.

Our staff consists of highly-qualified and experienced teachers and caregivers. Each staff member has been selected on the basis of their talent for teaching children. In order to stay abreast of Early Childhood Education, and to grow as professionals, continual training is required of all staff. Specialty staff includes a Music teacher, a registered nurse and a pediatrician consultant.

At Oyster Babies we know that “young child learn best through play.” Our program focuses on the development of social and emotional growth, specifically building self-esteem. We pride ourselves on the creative atmosphere of each class. Daily routines are flexible enough so that the teacher planned curriculum may be combined with spontaneous child-initiated activities.

Parents are encouraged to be involved with their child's program. Special Oyster Babies events, such as Special Person's Day, Grandparents Day, Art Fair, International Day and the Halloween Parade are just a few that are held annually. A strong relationship is also encouraged between Home and the Center; for example, Parent/Teacher conferences are held each semester.Show less
