The test prior to being hired at pace hq in Arlington heights is easy. it's really a personality test to see if you can work with the public. once a job offer is attained as mentioned here you will go to north aurora for 2 weeks m-f and once people get comfortable with the trainers all will go well. they want you to succeed as they are in a constant state of turnover. it did it for 2 years part time and learned a lot about people and driving. like every job one must learn to grin and bare it, however to stay on point the test at the end of training is difficult, however if you study the pace employee manual and your cdl book from the sos it's easy and you will succeed. word of advise is to not fight your trainers or your safety people once at your garage. I saw a lot of know it all's in training at aurora and at the garage. let your safety people, your superintendents and your dispatchers guide you and you will do fine..good luck!

That I believe would depend on the garage and the superintendent. I would check with pace hq in Arlington heights prior to wasting time in reapplying. I did see people rehired at my garage, however I know in one instance the operator had to sue the company. I would believe if you were ruled as rightly fired you would not have a chance. you might want to try a school bus company or the cta if it doesn't work out. again I would think this would depend on your particular garage superintendent. you might want to just make an appointment with him or her first to discuss.

Turn in a application , Get called in for a video test, get called in for a Interview in the Garage you applied for, and if hired sent to Aurora for 2 weeks Classroom training you need to pass to start the process of driving in the Garage you were hired.
