Direct Support Professional in Cookeville, TN

Rewarding job. They just expect you to work a lot of overtime. You might be sent somewhere you don’t want to go. Lack of training sometimes. You have like four bosses (chain of command) and they all try to contact you sometimes. Also they may bother you on your days off or vacation.

Pacesetter is a place when yheted no other place to make a fast buck legally. No benefits whatsoever just guarantee work if they have it available although favoritism is very evident with dispatcher. Don't care about workers just gullfilling their work orders do not enforce work integrity just send workers out with distegard to hygiene and professional work ethics.

From the first day I work for them until now even through covid-19 layoffs and shutdowns they've had steady work for me and been supportive of my needs with pay promotions along the way all in all a good company to work for

This company has that "Good ol' boy" plantation mentality where favoritism and pets have the upper hand in job placement. You'd better not step out of line and know your place or else your family goes hungry.
