Hygiene sees 12 - 15 patients a day, 30 minutes for adult prophylaxis and children, 40 minutes for periodontal maintenance appointments and 60- 90 minutes for SRP, butg expect to have added patients all day, with the expectation that you keep on time with your schedule.... so, if you like trying to be 3 places at one time with no help.... this is the place for you!

Long hours as in you are expected to give same day treatment, so you may be schedules till 5 pm but start a 90 minute procedure at 4:45 pm plus the set up and break down of the room plus your notes, you may be looking at 2 hours later than your scheduled end time, or no lunch hpur due to the added patient load.
