Driller (Former Employee) – Houston, TX – March 20, 2018
I think the rig that I was on had hired personnel from other companies on a promotional basis. I experienced mass confusion between department heads on how the companies policy and procedures applied to their job. They did their best to build up the culture on the rig and off, but it did not change the fact the no one had a clear vision on the companies expectations while performing their job responsibilities.
Great company to work for till they start losing money
Ultra Deepwater Cyberbase Driller Main (Former Employee) – Brazil – April 3, 2017
Started working here and the pay was great, good time off. However the minute things started getting bad, they started laying people off quickly. That what to except from a newly based offshore company that came up right before the downturn I guess. On the rig, I feel I have a close relationship with the guys, like a family. In the office is another story though, they don't care about anything, all about the dollar signs, which I don't blame them. That's how they were trained.
Salary, Benefits, everybody worked great together
New company, came out in the worst times for the deepwater industry
