8 - hours are very flexible. You can work from 6:00am to 3:00pm M-F or you can work 6:00am - 5:00pm M-Th and take friday off. But expect to work weekends, expect to bring work home with you. Don't expect to eat lunch with friends.

You are required to work 40 hours a week however it is expected that you will work more. You must have a charge code for a minimum of 40 hours and any work you do in excess can either be charged to a work package or you can do it in your free time. If you have no work, you can go into work debt, or use your personal vacation. If you exceed a set amount of work debt you will be put on review. You are expected to write proposals, papers, and presentations mostly in your own time. Even if you have this work debt, you will be expected to do work on your own time rather than make up the work debt.
