Order Puller (Current Employee) – Mukilteo, WA – July 8, 2018
I've been at pacific seafood for 2 years . i have learned most of the warehouse departments. But still i had to fight for a raise. I seems that if the management likes you. They will go all out to get things done for you. But if they dont. They will just work you till you quit.with no advancement in pay or position. overall the company is a great place to work. I wish i could say better about the management.
Cashier (Part-time) (Former Employee) – Bay City, OR – July 2, 2018
I have worked there for about 4 years seasonally and have never gotten a raise. I am a hard worker that showed up on time everyday I worked. I worked harder than anyone else and I got nothing out of it. I don’t recommend this job to anyone. Unless you want a low paying job and you don’t want to work hard. The only time you get fired is if you don’t show up when you’re scheduled to work or if you steal.
Local Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – Reno, NV – June 10, 2018
This company is an overworking machine who doesn't give a darn about their employees. They say take vacation time, but never give you the time off! I've never worked in such a messed up company as this one!
Bottomfish Packaging (Current Employee) – Woodland, WA – April 18, 2018
It is a good temporary job, but not one that I would want to work at for the rest of my life. It is hard to work here during the fishing season. You are working 7 days a week and 10 hour days. The management is good and they teach you how to stay safe and do the job effectively. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people and how everyone works together as a team.
Sales (Current Employee) – United States – April 11, 2018
The work can be challenging. The pay can be good but you have definitely have to earn it. Work/Home life is tough. You're always on call - or it feels that way and management can grind you down. The customers and the co-workers are usually very nice to work with. The work though can be burdensome because it feels like you're always answering to someone.
Freezer, Glazer, Barcode Supervisor (Former Employee) – Kenai, AK – January 16, 2018
The hardest part of working this cannery was getting everyone in sync with one another. Once work starts its a one speed type of environment and the shortest stoppage while working will set back the work line and schedule.
Production Worker (Former Employee) – Clackamas, OR – January 2, 2018
Really bad managament. Dont know how to deal with harrassment. Dont know have to utilitze people ability. A lot of favoritsm in this place. The more butt you kiss that better you get around in the job.
Laborer (Former Employee) – Woodland, WA – December 16, 2017
i loved it at first but then it started to spiral down hill when people started treating everyone else like dirt and making our jobs harder and not doing what their told then trying to tell new people what to do when they didnt know fully what to do either and was not exposed to be telling people what to do that was the leads job
Truck Driver Class B (Former Employee) – Mukilteo, WA – December 11, 2017
Sorry not much to be give. If my other descriptions are not enough i do not have much more that . Co workers were great management poor and did not care about the attitude they put toward the employee nor how the employee feels about the company. They do not appreciate the employees.
