I'm concerned about writing this review because it will probably be censored.and/or shared with Pactera. There seems to be a bias against Americans. Not fun working there.

Good balance between work and life
Data Scientist (Current Employee) –  RedmondJanuary 9, 2017
Most of the employees work on C2C with big IT companies
For the rest of them who work out of office premises, the company has a very open, start-up like culture but at times is way too sales oriented

Odd hours and low amount of energy from work force.
Tester 1 (Former Employee) –  Vancouver, WADecember 4, 2016
This company had a lot of complainers trying to get out of work with very little to no punishment. This was very frustrating because the management was too nice in some situations. For example mid management was allowed to show up up to an hour late consistently causing general employees to not be allowed to perform normal working tasks because of the nature of the job.

Director; promoted 3 times (Former Employee) –  Redmond, WANovember 27, 2016
As a Chinese company, it understands how the US business world work. It is constantly looking for non Chinese people to give itself a world flavor. Addresses many products across Microsoft.

Delivery Owner - US Operations (Current Employee) –  Redmond, WASeptember 15, 2016
Great experience working here in different roles. However, due to no real support teams and ineffective senior management you will learn to do many things beyond your scope. Strongly controlled by China headquarters and exhibits great resistance to simulate to global culture. Company is not doing well and will continue to decline as they don't learn and evolve from their mistakes.

Too many acquisitions, not enough focus or people support
Sr. Mng. Consultant/Lead, CM Solutions (Current Employee) –  Charlotte, NCJanuary 20, 2014
NouvEON was the original company, started by local consulting professional. NouvEON was purchased by HiSoft and 16 months later hiSoft and another company merged to create Pactera. The focus is technology which makes all of the current project managers and other solutions less important. No advancement. Very challenging environment.
Pros
Co workers
Cons
No shared vision, no understanding of mgmt consulting by leaders

Software Engineer (Current Employee) –  Alpharetta, GAJanuary 17, 2014
Pactera is a company based in Dalian, China.

If you are Chinese and work in their main office, you will love the job. You will have an office full of support, can speak with your managers whenever you please, and "feel" like a part of the company.

If you are one of the many off-shore employees, you will hate it. Getting in contact with your manager or anyone from HR is a Herculean task. And once the contract with your client ends, Pactera would prefer to terminate you rather than find a new client. I was even given the false promise that if this situation ever came up, that Pactera would have 2 to 3 clients lined up and waiting for you to move to.

That was a flat out lie.

If you work in China, they are a good place to work as they are a leading tech firm. If you are not in China, look elsewhere and avoid Pactera at all cost.
Pros
Pay is decent, great job in China
Cons
Lack of communication, easily disposable if you work outside China
