Work & Life Balance

Contract Counselor in Little Rock, AR
on November 11, 2020
Experience with Palco
I have solutely loved working at palko, but the 2nd manager that I had was a micro manager and we didn't get along as a result. Eventually, they fired me because they wanted to hire someone else that they could pay less money.

The job is easy to do, but management does not work proactively to help their staff or to resolve issues. Management micromanages, and has a VERY high turnover rate.
Data Entry Clerk in Little Rock, AR
on September 4, 2020
I worked here for almost 2 years and could no longer handle the amount of effort and time that I was putting into this job, with little to no compensation. Management is ridiculous, I was required to document EVERY single time I got up from my desk - even if I was just going to the bathroom. The supervisor over data entry is hands-down the rudest and most hateful person there, and should really learn how to speak to people (if you start working there, you’ll know who I’m talking about). No employees are appreciated and that’s why they can’t keep any. VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE, and the managers treat employees like slaves. Was required to work every Saturday, despite being promised no weekends when I started. If you have an appointment or a flat tire, be prepared to show them your receipt or proof that you went to the doctor. And don’t expect to EVER get a raise over .25 cents, even if you’re the person to train ALL new employees, are never late, and given good reviews, they literally just won’t do it. I was promised a two dollar raise after being there a year, and was given a .25 cent raise. I’m honestly surprised they’re still open. Stay as far away as you can from this company, there’s a reason they are always hiring.
Manager in Little Rock, AR
on September 3, 2020
This company is lead by an attorney and politician who believe no rules apply to them. They both are dishonest and unethical. They refuse to take ownership of their choices and will quickly place blame on staff. They do not see employees as people; asking for employees to go above and beyond while the company continues to lack in benefits and pay. The turn over is extremely high all stemming from very poor leadership. There is no pay structure. Pay is based on favoritism, not work ethic or knowledge. No job at this place is worth the torment you will be put through.
Home Health Care Aide in England, AR

I like this job. This career option has upped my experience and has given me a chance to work with others. Although this is a good job the pay could be better.
