IT department is toxic to say the least if you work on site at a hospital. Employees from the primary location will view you as a lesser being. The "One moment, One Person, One Love" is never upheld in most departments, it is for sure not in the IT department.
Honestly it’s fake. They preach “One Moment, One Person, One Love”. But it’s all about image. They treat staff as is we are a notebook full of paper. Year out one page and there will be another page ready. It’s sad and dangerous that some of the most senior RNs are only 5 years out of school. Morale is suffering in most, not all departments.
It's a great place to work at. If you come in and work everyday you can move up doing more things with a little more pay as well. Just like any other place you have to work hard for what you want.
