Si quieres crecer profesionalmente alejate de Pan American Grain
Cost Accountant (Former Employee) –  Puerto RicoApril 5, 2019

Pros
Plan medico (costoso), vacaciones
Cons
Paga muy baja, no hay respeto de la gerencia. No hay oportunidades de crecimiento, cero oportunidad de crecimiento.

Worst ever company to work
Marketing Intern (Former Employee) –  San Juan, PRMarch 24, 2019
Management/ Owner treats employees like dirt, no performance reviews, all business desicions are made by owner, no personal development at all. Worst ever environment to work, no businesses strategies or plans are followed; its a mess and there’s no respect or professionalism.

Worst Job I’ve ever had
Quality Control Technician (Former Employee) –  Arecibo, PRJanuary 2, 2019
Run as fast as you can. This company is terrible, it treats their employees like slaves with little regard toward your basic human rights. They will pay you as little as possible while asking you to do the amount of work that would take literally 20 people to do. Poor management, no focus, they expect to get outstanding results with too little employees. Run and never look back.
Pros
Medical Plan and 401K, if you become permanent.

Pass and wait for next opportunity
Promotions (Former Employee) –  Metro Catano Guaynabo AreciboJune 4, 2018
If you are offered a job here only take it after you have asked for as much money as possible. Then once you are in start planning your exit. You are probably don't want to stay here too long anyway.

Read the other reviews its clear what everyone says. They are not shy about paying so ask, since they will not be shy about asking extra time from you either. So get as much as you can upfront. If you don't get it, move on. If you do consider yours warned.

Brand Manager (Former Employee) –  Guaynabo, PRJanuary 22, 2018
Company not up to date with modern marketing and advertising techniques. Company does not support a teamwork environment. Managers and supervisors have to approve everything you do. You do not have any decision making liberties.

nice place to learn
Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) –  San Juan, PRDecember 5, 2017
nice, big company but very difficult to advance since the minimum wage is $7.25 in Puerto Rico. The high cost of life makes it very hard to keep a low pay position.

Productive and positive Team Work toward the company goals
Account Receivable Specialist III (Current Employee) –  San Juan, PRNovember 28, 2015
It's a good palace to work. Where you have the opportunity to achieve knowledge with other campus in the industry. But still the company has to prove more benefit to the employee. There is a great team group that works hard to get good results.

It's a great job experience
Marketing Assistant (Former Employee) –  Guaynabo, PRSeptember 14, 2014
Daily work consists of preparing ads or campaigns for some of the products manufactured by the company, which most of the time the work is requested to be done for the same day. Having to deal with last minute changes and being rushed to do so is probably the biggest con and least pleasant thing to deal with almost everyday because it affects every worker in the department and does not allow for better development of some campaigns. This of course is not so bad since some co-workers tend to be funny, respectful and help each other to get through the daily stress or whichever problem be it professional or personal. It's a great job experience nonetheless, and it makes it more pleasant working with some great people with so much experience in the industry which is also a plus since it helps to learn more and sponge-up some of the knowledge for future use.
Cons
No benefits, not a permanent position nor is there any advacement, REALLY POOR Communication

Manufacturer Experience
Texas Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Houston, Tx.March 12, 2014
Worked daily with Broker and customers to execute quarterly planning, pricing, finances, Food shows & events. Communicated & Supervised daily with retail person in the market. I managed local warehouse logistics system to oversee purchase orders, product replenishments with Puerto Rico and customer service. The hardest part of my job was the lack of communication, management approvals to meet deadlines and no interest or planning for my territory from upper management. I enjoyed the new & existing business contacts during everyday work & events in my territory. But most of all the success of increase sales and growth of the business since I managed this area.
Pros

Great place to learn the real way to manage a successfull business
Human Resources and Labor Relations Specialist (Former Employee) –  Guaynabo, PRDecember 22, 2013
This was an street experience away from the theory learned in any university. To be part of this organization for many years gave a understanding on how business is really done when it comes to an organization of one owner and a board full of family members.
Pros
Good learning experience
Cons
Too many legal claims in all management areas.
