Excellent place to work with great pay and benefits as well as opportunities for advancement.
Territory Manager (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDApril 21, 2019
This is the best company I have ever worked for. The pay and benefits are exceptional, the corporate culture and opportunity for advancement are fantastic and the working conditions are very good. The work, life balance is the only area that I would say could be improved but this may be more a factor of my goal-oriented and highly motivated personality than the company expectations.
Pros
Great Corporate Culture, Teamwork, Opportunities for Advancement
Cons
Work/Live Balance can sometimes be a challenge

Pandora Nightmare
Payroll Specialist (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDMarch 8, 2019
There are a few people that I have enjoyed working with at PANDORA. A few years ago, workplace culture was great. You could not walk down a hall without someone speaking, flashing a warm smile or just saying hello even if you did not know them. There has been a lot of changes with management so its expected that the culture would change but the company did not do well keeping employees engaged. When the company laid off a lot of people, HR closed their doors and if a certain "type" of person was laid off, private security was brought in to protect HR. FYI when I say certain type, lets say security was not always hired, only select races.

The culture went from warm smiles to people being disgruntle, resigning and or festering gossip. Part of the reason why people are disgruntle is because the organization would announce a change and then you would see some departments not complying with those changes.

The hardest part of the job was watching other departments get praised and raises for not doing their job but when its the department that takes in all the complaints, its easy to spin it to their favor.
Pros
Reduce Lunches, Gym and Great View
Cons
HR and Salary not market price

A good place to work
Global Incident and Problem Manager (Current Employee) –  Baltimore, MDJanuary 16, 2019
Pandora offers many exciting opportunities, but it is a retail company that moves at a very fast pace. The processes in place are not very mature, but there are continuous efforts to make them more effective. There have been many changes in management since February 2018, resulting in a significant culture change. Overall, Pandora is a good place to work if you can handle demanding workloads and deadlines. Opportunities for advancement are available, but the current management seem to prefer to recruit talent from the outside rather than promote from within.
Pros
Discounted or free daily breakfast and lunch
Cons
High pressure, high demand culture

Great culture! Employee engagement is a top priority and you can easily tell with all the perks that the employees get. The environment is relaxed and you get the respect and value that you deserve.

Highly competitive environment. Self-motivated/eager personalities likely to succeed. Work/life balance typically leads to short tenures with the organization.

Huge company growth of which I was part of when privately held then Company went publicly traded and managers were let go. Lots of turnover due this fact. Massive layoffs over several years.
Pros
Extensive Training and Travel

Horrible IT management
Manager (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDJuly 1, 2018
IT leaders are horrible, and care nothing about employees. Many layoffs, and money management is horrible. The company suffers from executives flying around the world business class, when not needed. Also, any leader there for more than 5 years can do no wrong, even when they have personal bias towards employees. Phillip Kennedy in particular.

Executive Administrative Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Baltimore, MDJune 22, 2018
Profitable company is a challenging retail environment. Culture has been shifting from small company to global corporation for the past few years. Continuing changes among global and executive management.

Inefficient Management Groups - Affects Rest of Company
Digital Marketing Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDMay 29, 2018
*Lay new people off approximately every six months despite heavy workload
*Remaining people were just expected to pick up the work from laid off colleagues
*No support from management
*When hired - HR makes it clear that overtime (even though not compensated) will be "expected because PANDORA is just that kind of company." It is not an "occasional" type of thing.
*They do not promote from within.
*no workplace balance.
*Holidays are basically nonexistent. If there is work to be done, you'll still be expected to work over the holiday
*Global office is non responsive despite the fact that they require being a part of the approval process for everything.
*incredibly short staffed due to previous layoffs and there is essentially a mass exodus.

They believe that the benefits outweigh all of the cons.

They offer tickets to a suite at Capital One Arena and M&T Bank Stadium but it's incredibly hard to get them as the executives frequently take the tickets.
There is a gym in the building but it's very difficult to use as it's very small and gets overcrowded

Would not recommend anyone work here.
Pros
subsidized food/coffee; sports/concert tickets; decent healthcare
Cons
awful management, no communication

Sales Operations (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDMarch 1, 2017
Looking to join a Company where I can offer my experience and work history to produce Superior Results and consistent growth. Passionate about delivering flawless execution and nurturing long standing customer relationships. I came from a very Family Oriented Company that cared very much in investing in each Employee. I look forward to joining a Company very similar.

Senior management is out of touch
Senior Executive (Former Employee) –  Baltimore, MDMay 4, 2016
This company lacks the leadership and guidance of a professional organization of its size. They operate out of fear and do little to manage expectations. Ego's are large and promises are boastful, yet when they fail to deliver the repercussions fall on the foot soldiers. There's a lot of turnover and it isn't because good quality people are working there. It's due to poor leadership that spends far more time tinkering with the org chart and maximizing EBITA than listening to end consumer demands. If you work here, plan on it being a wild ride and it ending relatively soon after.
Pros
Co-workers and physical environment
Cons
Lack of business acumen at senior levels and long term vision
