Your coworkers are going to be what help you survive the job. I feel that the overall experience of the job was a good experience; it was just having a disorganized manager that made the shifts harder.

Too much favoritism, mgmt chooses favorites who dont block out for their breaks. Work culture is cliquey and cringy. Spend more time with each other than customers

Working retail is never easy, but the team at Pandora made it fun!
Key Holder (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAMarch 6, 2019
Whether you've worked retail in the past or if you're brand new, working at Pandora would be a great option! Learning the product may be overwhelming at first, but get through it and you'll be able to focus on hitting your sales goals, building a client book, and having fun with all the jewelry! Definitely recommend! Employee discount is fantastic!
Pros
Great Employee Discount to help you give gifts for the holidays
Cons
Never having a fixed work schedule, dealing with rude customers

Great management and the pay is fine for an HS/beginning college student. Best as a part time job for some extra money and to practice selling. Would recommend to a person who is trying to improve sales.

Pandora is a great company, however, they are fairly strict employers. I am provided a flexible schedule and I have made great friends. The environment has little breaks and stress management is required.

Got bonuses for selling the store's products as well as great discounts. Got thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and was able to buy gifts for my family and friends.

Even though selling jewelry can sometimes be stressful, my time at Pandora was overall really great! I was taught many valuable lessons not only in sales, but in management and life in general. While there is a lot of work, both up front with the customer and behind the scenes, it is a great place to work if you are motivated.

Manager on Duty and key holder (Former Employee) –  Jensen Beach, FLJuly 16, 2018
this was a good job but the jobs was not easy to do and the procedures change every few months and it is all about selling more expensive pieces of jewelry not how it used to be. the jewelry represented a special moment in the peoples lives not just an expensive piece of jewelry.
Pros
discounts
Cons
expensive jewelry

I was lucky to have a college job where I genuinely enjoyed spending time with the friends I had made there. In season it was very quick paced and would slow down during the summer when all the snow birds went home, but then we usually spent the time deep cleaning every inch of the store and whatnot.

Meeting new clients and getting to know them is very rewarding.
Selling charms to different women can be very sentimental because it shows a personal relationships you can build with your clients!

Good place to work. Good management and room for advancement.
Key Holder (Former Employee) –  Oklahoma City, OKFebruary 19, 2018
You will get to make themed charm bracelets for display in your spare time. You will have a streamlined clean atmosphere. There are a lot of little charms to organize and admire.
There is a lot room for growth after working a year or so. There are a lot great people you will work with and work for.
We had many kick off events for new seasonal lines including snacks and door prizes and drawings. At times there were celebrity appearances.
At one store there are long lines at Christmas and Mother's day shopping. You will work a lot of extra hours at this time at a high pace. When it's all over you will have a lot of sales and a great sense of satisfaction.
I would recommend Pandora.

Easy Job

No commission for consultation unless met with high goals, and only 1%. The job is pretty easy but gets very boring. Boss is willing to work with your schedule.

amazing workplace
Key Holder/Sales Lead (Current Employee) –  FloridaJanuary 8, 2018
Each location is typically independently owned. I was lucky enough to have AMAZING bosses who were always understanding. There isn't much room to advance unless you become a keyholder/assistant manager because usually the owners are management. No benefits, but it was technically a part-time position so that was to be expected. I received a 30% off discount. No paid days off/sick days/ etc. Hardest part of the job is angry customers during the peak holiday times (black friday, xmas eve, valentines day and mothers day).
Pros
discount, flexible schedule
Cons
no benefits

Team players, great products, fast paced environment, fun
Sales Keyholder P/T (Former Employee) –  Las Vegas, NVDecember 20, 2017
The co-workers and management want you to succeed, they are helping you every step of the way. The environment is fast paced but it's fun. Listening to the customer about their passion in life helps us create a bracelet that is best suited for them. It makes the item uniquely theirs. The only thing that I disliked about the job, was that the break room was so small, it was difficult to relax.
Pros
Bonus Pandora money from making your goal
Cons
Lack of space in break room
