Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Fort Lauderdale, FLMay 22, 2018
Friendly staff and great learning environment but owners abuse of unnecessary rules. No sitting through a double shift while standing in flats and you must constantly without stop be doing something for the store. Doesn’t sound like to much but it gets to you. It’s little rules like that that pandora deserves 4 stars

Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Bolingbrook, ILMay 7, 2018
I really did enjoy working for Pandora, and I love the quality of the jewelry. However each business is different as Pandora is a franchise and each business is run slightly differently in regards to compensation.
Pros

Great for a 1st job
Sales Representative (Current Employee) –  Denver, COApril 19, 2018
Pandora is great for a high schooler working their first job. The training is great, but there is are no benefits (unless you're full time; which is only assistant mangers and mangers). It's also very competitive and there is a lot of favoritism.
Pros
Discounted jewelry
Cons
Competition, favoritism

A regular work day
Sales (Former Employee) –  Bronx, NYNovember 17, 2017
Some days are very motivating, especially when you're able to make your goal. You can easily make big sales without even trying. Uniform is required at all times, you get discounts on jewelry as long as there are no promotions. Store gets extremely busy especially for the holidays so sometimes you might miss your break and get blamed for it, some customers can be extremely annoying and a handful. DM is overwhelming.
Pros
Coworkers are great for the most part, discounts, commission, incentives
Cons
They will take advantage of you, say they will work with your hours and they don't, whenever there's an issue nothing gets fixed, lack of communication, no room for growth, they always mess up on your paychecks, commission isn't worth much

Calm and fun place to work, hours may be cut
Sales Representative (Current Employee) –  Kings plazaAugust 30, 2017
I really like working there but if you are not already seasoned or not favored hours can be cut. Business is slow waiting for holiday season to pick up more hours.
Pros
Fun environment

Our location was a really high paced busy store with a rather large team and a small store. We all worked really well together however there was very little chance of advancing in the company.

A nice environment. Great team work. Pandora was a place where you felt comfortable at all time. The hardest part it was making your goal on a slow day but with the team work we had we made it possible for all of the associate to get near their goal or make their goal before their shift ended.

Sales Assosiate (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJune 25, 2016
Management was terrible. Name calling. Talk about people with co workers. I learned about different types of metals and stones. My co workers were great. The most enjoyable part of the job was when we were busy.

Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Albany, NYJune 17, 2015
This is a nice job for a young person starting out but it is very hard to advance there. Hiring from outside happens a lot and even when a full time position is available you can easily be overlooked.

Unchallenging and unenthusiastic management.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Denver, COFebruary 12, 2015
A typical day at work for me was very unchallenging and boring. Basically, I clocked in, grabbed my cabinet keys, went out onto the floor where I stood until a customer walked in. Customers didn't come in very often, but for some reason, there was always at least 6 people scheduled for the day, which was completely unnecessary. The compensation is awful. No commission or anything. Management was depressing and unenthusiastic. They sat in the back and ate food for most of the time. Training was boring. Just a bunch of different videos that no one cared about. The hardest part of the job was just getting there. The most enjoyable part of the job was leaving. Not to mention, it's a company with ALL MEN. They claim to be all about women, but there are no women making the jewelry.
Pros
Easy job
Cons
Poor management, overpriced products, unfulfilled promises.

Interesting, enjoyable, creative
Sales Representative (Former Employee) –  Norfolk, VAFebruary 8, 2014
Working at Pandora was a very interesting experience. The main item to sell a Pandora are their charm bracelets. There are hundreds of charms to choose from and the purpose of the bracelet is to tell your life story. Being said, every customer would have a different story and it was enjoyable to listen and help customers to recreate their wonderful memories. Work atmosphere was great and under experienced management. Co-workers were a team and worked together. During holidays, Pandora would get extremely busy and it sometimes became difficult to keep track of which customers walked in first. When situations like this occurred, I learned it was always best to stay focused and perform my duties up to standards.

Jewelry Sales (Former Employee) –  Columbus, OHJuly 9, 2013
Pandora was an alright place to work. I learned a lot about customer service there, and co workers were great! Management was a little unorganized, but that can happen anywhere. Best part of the job was working with jewelry, and the hardest would have been the management and the low pay.
Pros
located in a great spot, met great customers, discount on jewelry
Cons
short or no breaks, un-organzied

Sale Representative (Current Employee) –  Schaumburg, ILJune 4, 2013
A typical day at work its greeting costumers and get to know costumers. Its mostly like making friends everyday. I have learn to meet monthly sale goals as a team. Everybody works as a team their no competition. Co-workers are very friendly they are always willing to help if their is any questions. The hardest part of the job its costumers, because sometimes the sale representative could spend about one hour with the costumer and make no sale at all.
Pros
commission
Cons
hours are not stable they constantly change

Worst Place to work ever
Sales (Current Employee) –  NCMay 10, 2013
HR requires you to come in to work during sickness. Drs. notes still do not excuse sickness, you will be written up. If you are too sick to physically get there or sedated, you are still responsible to find a replacement for your shift, and you will be written up. HR does not allow you to plan for time off. If you need to be out of town for family, vacation or emergency, forget it. A month in advance notice is still not acceptable, it will not be given. You will get written up.
Pros
decent hourly wage
Cons
Terrible Management
