HR requires you to come in to work during sickness. Drs. notes still do not excuse sickness, you will be written up. If you are too sick to physically get there or sedated, you are still responsible to find a replacement for your shift, and you will be written up. HR does not allow you to plan for time off. If you need to be out of town for family, vacation or emergency, forget it. A month in advance notice is still not acceptable, it will not be given. You will get written up.
