Work & Life Balance

Poor communication
Poor management, great pay great work balance but you are replaceable. Family-orientated small private company but work environment not that stable and they are currently downsizing.

Very high technology work with opportunities for hands on projects
Flexible work schedule and regular employee engagements activities make it an engaging place to work. Following a design thorough analysis and manufacture and seeing it work is very enjoyable.

Management's lacking
Lots of down time between jobs, and then get put on a job that is way behind schedule, manpower just isn't used effectively, theres always people sitting around not able to find productive work.
Covid-19 going strong but employees still not given work from home options. Poor response from management, not enough value put on employees well-being.

High employee turnover. People feel disposable. You get to do cool work, and it's flexible, but it doesn't feel like a long term place.

Jobs are underquoted and unsupported. They set you up for failure
Contractors are a numbers game. You are a head to tem, and you better get the job done or you will do non-conformances the rest of your undepaid career. Management is terrible at communicating ad making good business decisions. If they don't layoff the whole company, the rest will certainly leave of their own accord. 1 star

AeroSpace Engineering and Manufacturing Company
I started as a design engineer working on OEM designs. My input was valued and had a LOT of responsibility in designing product with high end tools. Then moved to manufacturing my designs, was enlightening on the entire process. Is an excellent all around company. They started a manufacturing company that is making very complex parts that are some of the hardest in the industry. The manufacturing team works together and through process development and values my opinion. Sometimes a lot of work solving problems that were discovered in process. They are evolving their processes to accelerate our learning. There has been a management change in the manufacturing organization that has been very positive and more productive
