Terrible segregated place to work
Production Worker (Current Employee) –  Fayetteville, GAMarch 11, 2019
There are 15 illegal Mexican ladies that work in the back can't keep any American workers bc the Mexican woman are so mean and nasty they run them out the door. Pushing them too hard or trying whatever they can to get them fired. They get paid tax free under the table while the Americans do all of the work! If u try to address the issue with management u might as well quit.
Pros
None
Cons
U dont get to shop there if u work there. Very onfourced rule!

Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) –  Acworth, GAAugust 21, 2018
typical day at park ave,
very busy, theres always discounts.
management does their job they are nice people to work with.
hardest part of the job is when a person doesn't have a coupon and they have to sign up so they cant get the discount at that transaction but it will come the following day (50% off purchase)
the most enjoyable part of the job is seeing regular customers , and new customers being excited about the treasures they find.

every day I learned something new, since it was a thrift store you had to learn about all the products. Products that includes linens, clothes, jewelry, shoes, etc. you had to look up prices for comparisons, everyone you worked with were more than willing to help you learn about the business. There weren't really any hard parts to this job, if you took the time and effort to learn you didn't have any problems the people and sorting through all the items was the most enjoyable part.
Pros
every week they had .20 tags
Cons
you worked almost 39 1/2 hours a week never 40 so you didnt get health ins.
