Overall not a good place to work
Senior HSE Manager (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJanuary 3, 2019
Stagnant, old fashioned company which was probably a good employer in the 1940s or 1950s. A lot of internal politics and "old boy" system of operating.

They can't keep work. If you hire on you might make a full hitch but don't bet on 2. They still one hole at a time. If you see an opening for parker do not apply. Its a waste of time.
Pros
Its good when you work
Cons
Work is rare

Sr. Buyer (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXNovember 17, 2018
My typical day was sitting at the computer purchasing equipment for my assigned drilling rig. I learned a lot at Parker. My co-workers were awesome and we were like a big family. The hardest part of the job was the commute in the city. The most enjoyable was working together and getting the job done.
Pros
Good pay and insurance. Great people in the department
Cons
Commute
