Parliament Tutors is a tutoring and translation service company based out of Manhattan. As an employee, I worked from home in numerous locations throughout the United States. My responsibilities included responding to inquiries, creating marketing campaigns, managing the sales team, and adjusting the administrative an online sales websites. I was the second employee hired at the company, thus I took on a managerial role which included recruiting independent contractors and full time employees. The hardest part of the job was wearing multiple hats simultaneously and being bombarded with multiple activities for various aspects of the company. The most enjoyable aspect was the freedom to work from multiple locations throughout the country.
