Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  Santa Rosa, CAJanuary 22, 2018
All around a good job if it is around the busy seasons. Other than that it is pretty slow and a lot of walking around waiting for the next thing to do.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJanuary 22, 2018
It is very busy and fast paced working environment. I learned how to blow balloons up, work the register, assist the customers with a positive manner.I wouldn't say the job was hard. It was really easy. The most enjoyable part of the job was making the costumers happy and welcomed.

lots of stuff
Cashier (Former Employee) –  Cincinnati, OHJanuary 21, 2018
handling the cash register was easier than inventory. with so many things in the store, and no seemingly clear map of where to put inventory, sometimes things wouldn't get put away properly for days at a time.

Associate (Former Employee) –  Hiram, GAJanuary 21, 2018
I learned many customer service skills, multitasking, time management, and other key responsibilities. The hardest part was working halloween but if you really listen to your managers and voice any concerns it will be easy to get through it in one piece.

Working at Party City is a great way to meet new people and to be able to make yourself outgoing, to be able to show other people your talents and to help others in need.

Pary City was a fun place to work at, considering it was for Hollween
Cashier/Customer Service (Former Employee) –  United StatesJanuary 20, 2018
"Come join the party" was the logo at that time. Customers were very happy to be shopping there which makes the employee's job enjoyable.

The employees work as a team and were very nice to work with. This makes coming into work enjoyable and not just a job.
Pros
Fun place to work
Cons
minimun wadge is way too low and that's what part timers receive.

Management was disorganized and unprofessional. Failed to consider that I was a high school student who needed sleep and time to do homework. Put me in situations not part of my job.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Orlando, FLJanuary 19, 2018
For the short time I was working at Party City, I have to say that it was the best job I've ever had. Not only were my co-workers very helpful and friendly when I had questions, but the overall environment was very relaxed and welcoming.

Party City is a fun and exciting environment dealing with customers, especially the kids. While working at Party City, I've learned their inventory procedures, how to deal with the lows and outs of the merchandise.
Pros
Management is understanding

Good place to work if you are a high school student looking to get a job to put on your resume. Not for long term working. Minimum wage pay and fee hours available.

Worked during their Halloween seasonal position. Was a fun place to work, enjoyed helping kids and adults choose their Halloween costumes and finding accessories for them. Management was fair with hours especially when my classes ran long.

Sales Associate (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLJanuary 18, 2018
A typical day at work was always a fast paced shift and filled with customers from opening to closing. There was no organization in the store or back room. Although it is a fun work place during the changing holidays, I do not recommend growing with this company.

It's fun but you aren't paid much.
Front End Coordinator(Supervisor) (Former Employee) –  Snellville, GAJanuary 18, 2018
It's a pretty fun retail job that has really cool seasonal changes and you meet a lot of interesting people coming in to purchase party supplies. However, you get paid barely above minimum wage to do a lot. It's debatable to someone that hasn't worked in a Party City store.
