Not a bad job. Plus it pays the bills so it is hard to complain about that. They will train you if you don't know much. The work hours ain't so. Bad
OTR Driver in Murray, KY

This is a good company to get some training for a new driver. It's also a good company for drivers with a bad criminal or driving record. This is not a career company by any means. There is no money to be made with ptl. No holiday pay. You will work Christmas or Thanksgiving guaranteed. They don't like to give bonuses for anything. They take as much as possible from the drivers to put towards the stock ownership program so the people willing to stay can one day retire on next to nothing. So their facilities and equipment are trash. My advice is don't stay long
Driver Recruiter in Indianapolis, IN

There truly aren't words to describe how awful this company and their work environment is. An absolute nightmare, especially the recruiting department .
Mechanic in Murray, KY
on October 25, 2021
They didn’t pay mechanics enough for what they had them doing. Somehow, they got away with a STRAIGHT PAY 50 minimum work week requirement from all people in the shop. They were late to put in safety precautions for covid, and at the beginning of it, a comment from the manager that I remember was,”why should we care?” They don’t give anyone that is decent at their job the chance to move up. They don’t like giving out raises, including cost of living raises ( never got one there). Communication between the office and the shop is obsolete.
CDL Class A Driver in Murray, KY

If you don't get the right DM you will have a lot of stressful days. They have a lot of live loads. Forget night shift and weekend shift. Totally incapable. Have no ideas when businesses open or close. There were several times i had to sit over the weekend and wait till they opened Monday morning. Sometimes you will sit a day or 2 because there are no loads available in that same area. Equipment are old and have defects. Averaged around $500 to $700 a week with 8 month experience.(44cpm). After i informed them that I'm leaving they gave me a 3 cent raise. Breakdown works fast to get you back up and running.
