Some love it, some didn't. Workload and recognition depends on what your job is.
Good paying job, but had to work a lot of nights from home and weekends. Very stressful with a lot of pressure to get the job done. No recognition for successfully doing my job. A very development focused company that didn't recognize operations as being important, until something went wrong and then upper management would be all over you. Very - more ... unequal distribution of work for different departments. - less
ProsAllowed to do important things
ConsUnequal distribution of work. Very clubby atmosphere for long-time employees, not so much for newer hires.
