A day at work is fast paced. Everyone is always moving for agile meetings. There is great collaboration between employees. The staff is multicultural, many different accents, cultures at play at all times. Work Life balance is encouraged. Many opportunities to improve your skills, Great team building. Management looks out for the employees.
The best part of the job is knowing you participated in the successful launch or change on a Global project..
The work is easy. The training is long and can be annoying, but is worth the time.

The culture at PayPal is unlike anything you have ever experienced. The management is fairly awesome. It is easy to advance if you are willing to put in the work. The campus is like that of a college but with other adults, and not annoying teenagers. PayPal also takes care of their people. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
Job culture in Paypal is like no other, they really care about their associates. I would suggest any position but "Legal admin", their direct management team does not reflect how open and inclusive Paypal is.
A typical day is either an 8-hour or 10-hour shift. I learned a great deal about the PayPal Credit portfolio. When management stated that they would do something, they did it. The company was highly focused on keeping attrition low. The culture is very inclusive and diverse.
PayPal has changed a lot for the past 12 months.
Senior managements started playing political with no sense of diversity and inclusive for other cultures. Very American culture with the heroic type leadership. They don't take responsibilities: my senior leadership failed on so many initiatives and can always find the scape goats.
It is amazing to see one novel idea created 20 years of longestivity for the business by the Silicon Pirates. Currently, there is no innovations going on as there are so many competitions trying to take the market share rapidly.
The business is now just playing catch up game even they claim the growth. If you pay close attention in the competitions, you would realized it has many softness in the gains.

PayPal is like a mini-startup company. So aggressive. But rewarding with respect to the community and the work culture and rewards. I have been at PayPal for 15 years in several times, and am always very happy with PayPal.
Everyone has friendly face and people can be helpful but usually to themselves. Greats atmosphere that makes you want to get things done. Location is perfect with freeway and public transportation is available across the street.
Team leads and manager make sure you succeed at what you do. Trainers get your prepare for what you will do before you get on the floor. PayPal is involved in a lot of sharities and always gives back to the communities.
Loved working at PayPal! I was full-time remote due to those that I support were out of state. I was a contract employee, hoping to be brought on, but due to the eBay split, I wasn't. However, I loved the culture of PayPal and the employees were really happy to be working there, etc.
I personally work in a call center environment. I receive calls from customers need assistance and I help assist other agents that need help. The job can be stressful and is stressful quite often. When you are dealing with people who use you as a lively hood things just have to work.
Management has been great for the most part, there has been a few managers that were less than ideal but that happens. Upper management seem like they care about the employees.
Overall the most enjoyable part of the job is the people I have met on the job. The culture is great and very inviting to all. They offer ways to get involved in the community through offering volunteer time off pay, sponsoring local charities and more. I would definitely recommend anyone to work here.
I had a great time, and the systems to use was very easy. The hard part were reading transactions more than anything else, and the management was amazing. I recommend trying the place out if you can handle customers yelling at you about a debt they owe.
Like most of the US corporate culture. Less and less successful management as time progresses into the future. This company consumes youth like Battlefield earth is the worst movie ever made about PayPal's culture.
Management is a Mafia of profit seekers. If you aren't management you are a tool. You cannot trust them. If you are experienced you will experience a "secret society" level of corporate preservation. If you are young you will get a strong feeling of being judged by peers that only have "University Academic" experience of a problem. Solutions tend to be copied from open source, and my colleagues from Generation X and before.
You have people basically putting their wifes and husbands through medical/dental school spending 99% of their work time on the phone starting up a business during office hours. And when you find this out you might get fired for highlighting it. Its very unethical workplace.
