Zero orginazation cut throat enviroment job description was not even close to what the position entailed
Truck Driver Class A (Former Employee) –  fort riley ksNovember 26, 2018
I’ll start with that i’ve never had a job like this one, a job were every single day was a complete cluster, a job where the “lead man” completely ruined the job, a job where the supervisor and the lead man didnt get along or communicate which inturn trickled down to us, we never knew what we were doing from one moment to the next. Now on to the big issue, pd systems advertised the position as a truck driver job (read the position description for yourself) in reality thats the last thing you do, the job has you operating 10k & 36k forklifts which i can understand due to the nature of the job, we did move alot of containers in-between all the other duties you get dropped on your shoulders. Now on to the fun stuff, they have you do rail, im not sure how a truck driver position gets roped into doing that, we are to be “safety’s” and watch the soldiers load/unload anything from humvee’s to M1 tanks, we are to check tie downs, correct # of chains used, etc etc, well unless your union pacific RR or a load master of some sort before working here not a one of us knew what we were doing, then to top it off your treated poorly by the “goverment” guys that your helping. Then there are “flights”, which again isnt mentioned in the description, we would take bags to & from local airports, sounds easy & that part was however its at all hours of the day/night/evenings/weekends and as usual there is hardly no communication so its usually last minute after you’ve made plans. Right before i quit we were notified we would be on call for snow/ice removal, huh what????? truck driver that is now snow  more... fighter, rail worker, baggage hauler, equipment operator for $17.23hr! And to top it off the actual goverment personnel you work in the same office with and help are constantly trying to get you in trouble, its ridiculous that grown men behaved like that. PD systems=NO THANKS!  less

Petroleum and Water Instructor (Former Employee) –  Fort Lee, VAJune 29, 2016
The job description is the same as it was with cubic. The reason for the change is because of rebidding on contract, which was won by PD Systems.
