Applied on Indeed.com for a Nursing position. Within a day or two, (on a Thursday afternoon) HR called me to review my application/experience, I was told my resume would be forwarded to the dept mgr BUT Not to expect a call before the following week.
Surprisingly, after being told that, I received a call from the mgr that same afternoon. The interview was informative, I think, to both of us.
I was offered the position before the end of the call.
