What is the best part of working at the company? The pay scale. The east drive to work. The parking. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? That their mission statement does not match company values. That they do not follow Jesus Christ. They follow the dollar. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It kept changing as new CEO’s came on board.. right on down to “travelers “ hired as they’d loose staff……What is a typical day like for you at the company?Stressed Typically short staffed.

No leadership or communication skills? Apply here for a management position

Management is hand selected depending on malleability. The minute another hospital system moves into the area, PeaceHealth will be confronted by the repercussions of treating their employees so poorly.

Pros

Helping people.

Cons

Poor leadership from top to bottom creates more obstacles than I care to jump over.

Great mission and values, no negotiable terms regarding pay structures, slightly micromanaged.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Limited to no control over what site you are told to work based on financial needs for the organization. Supportive and Positive Employer

I have worked as a social work intern for PeaceHealth for about 9 months now and have loved every moment of it. Management has been very supportive, co workers are great, and the overall energy of the medical office is very positive. I can tell PeaceHealth truly cares about their patients and their employees. They also have a a few programs to support their caregivers which is so important to prevent burn out and employee retention. I would recommend working at PeaceHealth to anyone I know.

Broken supervisors

They don't know what they are doing. They are very selfish unsupportive and unprofessional. They don't know how to train newly hired, then make it a newly hired one's fault, write up and fire with inappropriately. Bad place to work.

Hard work, call required, pays well

Typical busy hospital serving the region. Caring employees. Excellent care given. Union backed. Pays well. Great setting. The department I worked in had a decent culture, not stellar. Nurses can be hard on each other.

Nice Steady Work

Enjoyed working probably because I had a good supervisor and coworkers. I worked in the hospital so it was always busy, but good benefits and opportunities.

Great Coworker

Excellent coworkers. Great managers. Bad executive leadership and decisions, all made at the hospital system level with little input from the largest hospital in the network.

Not a fulfilling work environment for me.

What is the best part of working at the company?Generous education benefit with 40 hours each year paid for plus will reimburse cmes and licensures ( to a certain limit). What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Not much work life balance. The Pto is a combination of sick, vacation and holidays. For example, if you work at a clinic for peace health and Christmas fallsOn a weekday, the clinic will be closed but you will need to use your Pto. You accrue more pto the longer you work there, but as most work in healthcare is stressful, it would be more ideal to have the ability to take more days off to recuperate. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Patient centered, but little follow through unless you have a designated social worker or rn case manager to assist. Lots of resources available to the unhoused, those with low income and those struggling with substance abuse. What is a typical day like for you at the company?Busy, not much time to take a break. Often worked though my lunches ( charting so that I wouldn’t have to stay even later).

Great Staff, Terrific Managers, Good Benefits

Great Staff to work with on a daily basis. Managers and Assistant Managers are terrific leaders. Good Benefits, PTO time off. Unionized nurses. Bad: Most decisions are made at the headquarters, and does not reflect or consider the input from local leadership and frontline staff. Bad leadership and bad decisions made at the higher levels of this organization.

Friendly, caring environmen

I truly enjoyed my contract at PeaceHealth. I have nothing negative to say. I worked on the EMR training team and was impressed with the excellent teamwork I experienced. The employees want to help each other and they also made consultants feel welcome. Management team was responsive and honored work/life balance.

Fun Workplace, opportunities to grown

I loved my time working here until I had to quit for school. The management was supportive and listened to concerns. Many opportunities to grow here in any position. I would recommend this workplace if you like a busy fun environment. Cons No competitive pay Frequently short staffed

Fun workplace

Some of the best teammates and relationships I've ever formed at a workplace. Unfortunately benefits weren't great and cost an arm and a leg. Also working with little to no breaks was becoming a regular

Supportive group

Enjoy working with co workers, supportive management, supportive in nursing program, and supportive all around. Cordata medical group is a good location.

Bedside RN care is awesome- hard but great— Admin requires wasted time figuring how to do what is asked.

What is the best part of working at the company? The entire staff are welcoming and provide the best care to all patients. Education is encouraged and internal prof growth is possible. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Short staffed and Admin expectation changes way too often. Hard to keep up with the “want of the day” as far as reporting, revenue and help in areas of Admin not related to my specific position but crucial to functionWhat is the work environment and culture like at the company?Diverse, inclusive and employee reward for good work accomplishment is always with FOOD…. Really?????What is a typical day like for you at the company? An RN focus with Admin duties that’s sometimes are overwhelming as fast as HOW, WHO, WHY to complete. Fly by then seat of the pants kind of thing . Resources if available, not well known without frustration to find them

It's a good job if you don't question their ethics

It's ridiculous to me how upper management and HR will just throw employees under the bus to save some face. Having unethical providers is a horrible thing and blaming those who question the ethical practices of said providers and caregivers is horrible.

Pros

Good pay and benefits

Cons

Horrible management, no compassion for staff needs, quick to pass blame

Not the best

Unfortunately many of us were happy working for them. I was proud to work for a religious company. Then the mandated vaccines came along and they put us on unpaid leave of absence for not allowing us to work if we had medical or religious exemptions. The pandemic is over, the vaccines have proven to do nothing to stop transmission, and yet, we still have not been called back to work yet. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting policies when we are in a severe nursing shortage. Shame on you Peacehealth.
