Smaller productive company that culture is important in
National Account Manager (Current Employee) – St. Paul, MN – August 7, 2018
Pearson has seen many changes over the years from being a privately held company to being owned by a Private Equity Firm and the goals and atmosphere of the company has shifted. The culture of the company has always been important since we are a small to medium sized company and the office employees all know each other and get along for the most part.
GHDL/Forklift/Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) – Saint Paul, MN – April 26, 2016
Hard getting everything set in the morning when nobody knows where their own supplies are. Learned how to change tape, set the code dates on the machines. Also that there is a lot of politics involved in union work.
Maintenance mechanic (Former Employee) – St Paul, MN – November 15, 2011
Pearson's is a good learning ground. No job is too big for you to learn. Other mechanic's are very helpful. Managment is always looking for someone to blame if anything goes bad. They will find some one to blame even if it's there fault for not listening to the manufactures engineers.
