How are the working hours at Pearson?

17 answers

  • In the test centers anywhere between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.

  • Set 8 hour days

  • 8am to 4:30pm Half hour lunch is too short

  • One of the people posting said you can work anytime you want. That’s not how it is in Norman ok. We had schedules. Our management is not as nice as the poster said either. Our manager would put up religious material and I think that is just wrong in so many ways.

  • You can end up with 3 to 6 hours in a week, or grueling 13 hour days. If you're the one in the office who is flexible, you work usually 13 hours or more every Saturday - the only way to get needed hours.

  • As the company increases testing capacity in its centers, open days are fewer and schedules are cramming the maximum numbers into very few open days. You can be scheduled for 12-13 hour days that will disappear without much notice. Depending upon the testing center, jobs are advertised as 10-15 hours per week. For me that minimum was essential to meet my living expenses. Now you can end up with 10-15 per month, it appears, all sorts of strange hours such as being sent home after 3 hours because while there may be capacity scheduling for the morning, the rest of the day will be canceled for one administrator. Tricky, Pearson - all designed to cut hours.

  • No he trabajado en esta empresa pero me gustaría mucho hacerlo

  • Very flexible hours, but not a full time job for the most part. Some Saturdays are required, but your evenings are free.

  • Sparse. 8-10 hrs weekly and EVERY Saturday

  • Nice working experience with Pearson
