Being an operations specialist here gives the opportunity to see how all departments in the airport work. Good for someone looking to make a career in avaition. Good co-workersPay is very low and schedule can be demanding with night shifts

Easy but constant work
Although the work was all relatively easy, it was constant. There was always something to be done whether it was mowing, weed whacking, or something in the shop, work was consistent during the day.

Great job to get started in airport/aviation career
An interesting job requiring skills in a variety of duties around the airport. Fellow co-workers are great. As an international airport, the facility requires being able to work shift work on a 24/7 schedule, with overtime pretty much guaranteed during winter months. Requires bachelor's degree.

Shift begins at 6 AM as vehicles and boats arrive at Rye Harbor. Parking permits and instruction given, as needed. Open office and maintain public areas. Assist office manager with daily tasks to include, ticketing, telephones, photocopying, deposits, and other job duties, as assigned.
