Lead Porter (Former Employee) – Chantilly, VA – June 2, 2014
Welcomed and Interfaced with customers Ensured cars were spotlessly cleaned when presented to customers Always made myself available to assist customers, team members and supervisors with requests and questions.
I learned to work with many types of people and that the customer expected and deserved quality service.
Disappointing customers if I was able to assist them
work environment was really laxed, co-workers where great to work with management sucked
Diesel Technician (Former Employee) – Las Vegas, NV – November 19, 2018
I made it almost a year, they put inexperienced people in management positions and they couldn't manage there way out of a card board box, There more excided to terminate an employee then to work with them and understand there situation. They don't seem to understand how to make a business work. Co-workers where really great and very helpful. would not recommend working at any Penske in las vegas until they replace there management.

Lease Sales Representative (Former Employee) – Wilkes-Barre, PA – November 16, 2018
Iconic American brand still stuck in the 60's and 70's. Extremely old school inventory and product software used, unfortunately, I got dumber by using it. Great company perks like car and awards event, very strict on dress and travel.
A fast-paced work environment with advancement opportunities as long as you can relocate.
Assistant Manager/Manager (Current Employee) – Oklahoma – November 15, 2018
The job is based heavily on customer service and sales. You must also properly manage the branch trucking fleet. It is a very stressful at times and must consistently have good time management to balance daily responsibilities along with the distractions of customer phone calls and walk-ins.
HR Generalist (Former Employee) – Indianapolis, IN – November 14, 2018
Working with the Penske team was great! Roger Penske is very down to earth and truly cares about his employees. Great company to work for. A nice perk when I was here was being able to watch the Indy 500 in the Penske suites.
Branch Service Manager (Former Employee) – Phoenix, AZ – November 13, 2018
Typical workday for my role was 12+ hrs a day, depending on which facility I was located at.Lots of local management turnover my last year there. However, I built many great relationships, and had a major part in some positive changes in the District.
Stable Company, good benefits, great long term career option.
Very time demanding for Managers; stringent report driven protocols
Delivered rental vehicles to vendors as well as other Penske lots.
Hiker/Driver (Former Employee) – Henrietta, NY – November 12, 2018
Work day began at 3:00PM and went to 11:00PM. Planned the work process to enable all rental vehicles to be delivered on time. DOT inspection and complete fueling completed on each vehicle delivered. Management left the building at 5:00PM so drivers were on their own to complete the list of vehicles to be delivered.

i was a fueler/CSR, i would fill up the customers trucks that pulled up to the fuel Island. I would also clean the retail trucks that got dropped off when the customers were done with them. I also do any addiction work that the superiors needed done
Senior Programmer (Current Employee) – Reading, PA – November 9, 2018
Penske does a great job of putting developers through training, and providing alot of tools for learning. The work expectations are quite inconsistent depending on department/team, and while they provide a great plan for growth their skills matrix is very outdated. The only con is the salary, which will most likely get blamed on the corporate location.
Order Selector (Former Employee) – Chesterfield, MI – November 8, 2018
I have no bad things to say about Penske it’s fair as long as you see fit. You will ride a pallet jack so walking is definitely out of the question. If you are looking for something to pass time this is it.
Receptionist (Former Employee) – Fairfield, CT – November 3, 2018
The manager was so patient with me and how I picked up on tasks. If I got overwhelmed he stepped in to assist with no harsh words; he was truly a patient leader. The dealership was exciting. The brand of cars had a reputation for being high quality and luxurious. So it was exciting to be around the glossy vehicles. Its nice to work in a place where everyone is easy going and focused on making money.
