They like to give you the run around. High turn over rate. No communication between managers and shop floor employees. No room for advancement. Company is going down hill fast, would be surprised if they are still open in a year.
Management are egotistical & shown not to care about employees, refer to them as chess pieces. High turnover due to poor planning, poor execution, & poor management skills. Rumor mill is rampant & sadly listened to by managers without investigation of legitimacy. Team Leads are expected to be Yes men, Operators are expected to be compliant robots willing to sacrifice home life to make up for bad planning.
I have had the opportunity to work for a few Manufacturing companies as well as other industries. Pentair has given me the most opportunity for personal and professional growth. Management asks questions to help me understand what I want in my career. When I provide development opportunities they support both in my day to day work as well as financially. Leadership listens and makes business decisions with employees in mind but also keeping the growth of the business forefront. Happy to be employed with a company thinking about innovation at the same time being conscious of social and global issues.
It's an okay place to work, if you need benefits. Long hours, breaks are too short, long standing hours, reoccurring inquires. It's an okay place to work.
Good pay/benefits. Recently did away with mandatory OT and changed shifts, this was a huge benefit for work/life balance. No more 6-days/week, now only 3-5 days per week unless I want to work more. Good training program and most leaders listen.
