Management doesn’t care about employees. The pay is not worth the dangerous situations you are put in. Management does not care about their workers mental health.Completely unethical, management lies to the CEO about serious things that should be dealt with.
Ulster County Site Director in Ulster Office

This is a community mental health agency committed to providing quality services to everyone who walks through our doors, regardless of history, race, or income. The staff is caring and devoted to helping those we serve, live their best possible lives. All the staff believes that Recovery is possible, and portray that daily. The slogan "Recovery is the expectation and Hope greets you at the door" stands true throughout all agency locations nationwide. Management is supportive. All staff receives training to become Certified Peer Specialists within a short time of hire at People USA. Training is offered and the full cost covered by the agency because they believe in staff learning the services, techniques, and operations essential to providing a quality service. Having had the opportunity to work my way up throughout the agency beginning as a Peer Advocate, and now a Site Director, I am living proof that the agency offers opportunities for promotion. Having the opportunity to work with participants struggling with mental health issues in a non-traditional setting, meeting them where they are in their recovery with no expectations, allows for a new way of engagement. Resulting in working with participants to achieve their goals, independence, and overall happiness through their treatment choices.

I worked at People USA for a little over 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say. This company puts the individuals we serve as the number one priority while also taking care of its staff. Management is very good about listening to the needs of staff and is always available for support. Lots of trainings and opportunities for staff to learn more skills and ways to improve their own mental health as well as working in the field. Honestly the best job I've ever had, would return in a heartbeat.
Site Director in Dutchess County, NY

I have worked at People USA for over a year and during that time I have received a great deal of support from my supervisor. The work is rewarding and the people we serve benefit greatly by our programming. The staff are positive in their attitudes and they care about the people they serve. The benefits are outstanding at this agency and I feel the pay is fair for the amount of work that is required to complete my job. I would recommend working for People USA and doing work that makes a real difference in the lives of others.
