Software Developer I in Tulsa, OK
on November 13, 2019
The culture here used to be understanding of personal difficulties, however when my partner underwent a major operation which took months of preparation put them out of commission for several weeks, I was officially reprimanded for lost productivity and distraction at work. both of these were true, but no attempt was made to understand the root of the situation. Additionally, HR policies are not evenly applied. Another employee who left shortly before me was allowed to use up their vacation days as a part of their exit, but when I submitted my resignation with 3 weeks notice, the last of which was to be using up my PTO, I was denied, and the PTO that I earned was in essence confiscated without recompense. There are many wonderful people who work here, but the cultural shift since acquisition, has destroyed the soft benefits of working here.

I was only there for 6 weeks, the work and training was the worst, they wanted you to go thru training mostly on your own, then Quality Checked, then wants you get the understanding of the work they stop Quality Checking your work and the case load, if you do not meet there expectations of cases they boot you out, if they don't like you because they find reason's like you can't be open to work from 7-7 even though your schedule is set from 8-5, then try to work a second job they will fire you. They have huge turnarounds and expected to grow and hire 50 people. What a joke if you can't train people then leave them on there own on the worst training software then they didn't have anyone to train but there temps because there trainer had left for another job. This was the worst job I ever had and wasted my time. People would be leaving left and right, how can you hire 50 people when you can't keep them! The manager's there take things personal, can't say anything about anything or they will show you the door. If you had your background check done through them be sure to look into what was said, pretty sure there will be alot of lawsuits!!! They don't have folks Quality Check there work. They have a theory that you get it or you don't approach in 4 weeks plus you have to work 80 cases a day, plus hardly any errors without Quality Check. I was only in Quality Check for 4 days they told me to leave because they felt like 35 cases and had some errors due to poor training was enough to fire me, plus I told them how they had a temp to train me was not enough. They were offended, and that didn't help enough so they didn't try to have an experienced person to assist with training until I was Quality Checked, this place is set up for failure and up for a lot of lawsuits.

There is high turnover that makes it hard to create strong relationships with people that make you want to stay somewhere. There is a lack of directional leadership within the company and that does not seem to be changing even with the resent change in leadership. The management does not seem to care about the employees and they really dont care if they stay or leave, even top performers.

The operations manager is very disconnected from the staff. There are 3 different groups (health services, client services and verifiers) none of the groups communicate with each other so no one ever knows what is going on. There is no room for advancement unless you become buddies with the boss, no one follows the rules unless they don't like you then you get written up. Human resource is in Las Vegas so they only know the lies that the operations manager tells. The worst company to work for.
