Speech Language Pathologist (Former Employee) – Peoria, IL – May 22, 2018
Working within many different public school settings afforded many experiences with students of various strengths and challenges. Moving from school to school within one work day was at times difficult.
I am currently working in a Life Skills 1 classroom for SEAPCO. I have learned how to work with children with many different needs, both cognitive and physical. In a Life Skills classroom, we strive to teach children skills they need for life and help them gain independence. Through SEAPCO I have learned how to feed a child with a G-Tube, how to be a human guide for a child who is legally blind, how to make schedules for children who have autism, and much more. I love helping these children achieve their goals.
GIS Intern (Former Employee) – Peoria, IL – August 30, 2011
I worked on several different projects that were enjoyable, enjoyable people to work with, and to see the results of county residents paying into the right tax districts and voting in the right districts that they are entitled to.
