I want full time work every day. That my typical day
You start at 6am at your first store they give u an iPhone u clock in and out on it you order and count your backroom after you finish 11 pallets off the truck u fill your coolers by the registers and starbucks coffee and water and Gatorade you are usually by yourself putting the truck away after you done u gotta clean up your cardboard and plastic you pull your pallets to the the floor its constantly stocking and restocking and merchandising and alot of walking and bending over doing that for 12 to 14 hours a day no lunches or breaks and trucks are usually late which throws your whole day off pay is ok you make money off your orders 60 percent 40 percent is a base salary 560 so u make your money off your ordering problem is you gotta order right or the receiving manager can send it back and they'll charge you on the commission check its a very physical and mental job
A typical day is rewarding to say the least. There's something to learn every day. If your a natural born problem solver and can work in a fast paced environment effectively, then your typical day is a great day.
You have to work about 4 to 5 stores. Your not able to go home finish all your stores. You work 8 to 10 hour days. 12 hours if you're truck is late. All you do is stock Pepsi product in kroger , walmart ,etc. It's harder then it sound. Sometime you have to work 300 to 400 case order by yourself. Deal with grocery store backroom receiver sometime there rude.
Start at 3 or 4am. Drive to different stores on your route in your own vehicle. Some stores you’ll just have to replenish what was bought the previous day, but other stores you’ll have loads. You’ll have to break down pallets and either fill the store floor or stock them in back.
Could be easier if routes was plan out better & the warehouse stack the pallets better
It all depends on how many stops they give you , the preach no more than 12 stops including bulk stops but they can give you 14 and 15 stops and don’t care at all ,so if your truck is ready in the morning that is that everything goes smooth you could be done at 5 pm but since nothing goes smooth at Pepsi I have seen driver get of after 8 pm .
Arduous. vert long hard days. No appreciation from upper management
Wake up 5am, come into my first stop. Make a pick list. Locate product. Fill shelves. Face whats not in back. Sign out with manager.
Crazy! Nothing is ever like the day before but you’ll end up loving that
