Delivery Driver (Current Employee) –  Rock Hill, SCJanuary 28, 2018
Once you learn the job its pretty easy day to day. When you get to work you setup your truck and get your loaded trailer, then you drive to your stop and unload the trailer. Once you've completed unloading the trailer you head back to the warehouse, clean and park your trailer and truck.

Driver/Operator (Former Employee) –  Norfolk, VAJanuary 4, 2018
Great company to work for, but it pays off! There are not many jobs where you can make the type of income and still be able to come home to your family every night.

Delivery Route Driver (Current Employee) –  Montgomery, ILJanuary 2, 2018
Great place if you want worked to death and be treated like a animal. Management doesn’t care if you’ve worked your butt of or not. They’ll just give you more. It seems their company motto should be more with less. Never enough help driver or warehouse wise.
Pros
Can’t really think of any.
Cons
Everything, terrible work atmosphere

The management is not up to par with what most companies are suppose to have but that is a personal problem within the company. other than that the job isn't bad itself if you are willing to move.

Warehouse Worker (Current Employee) –  Gainesville, FLNovember 25, 2017
I’ve worked for Performance Food Group on and off since 2002 and in the last 3 years of working there it has gone completely downhill. The management used to care about their employees but now it seems as though we have taken a backseat to the whole company. Sad really.

Decent place to work; pay and benefits need improvement
Manager (Current Employee) –  VirginiaNovember 15, 2017
Salary and benefits are below local comps. PTO time at Day One is less than many startups. Health benefits are fair, but kind of expensive. No match on 401k.

Sr. management is executing well on their strategy and people think the company is going in the right direction. Employees seem to have more autonomy and decision-making capability for their level than at most large companies.
Pros
high level of individual autonomy and decision making
Cons
pay & benefits below local comps

I was not told that the position I held was a temporary position and they just laid me off without any notice. Other than that I have nothing bad to say about the company.
