Pros: Large hospital with ample opportunity for growth, specialization and diversification. Advanced level of veterinary medicine is practiced here so you can get exposure to many things. Overall supportive team and work environment. Don’t apply unless you like management that never has your back and only sides with their clients. Since being bought by veritas they have become money hungry and don’t care about their employees. They only care about bringing in money. Management is very cliquey and tries to drive out their solid employees by setting unrealistic standards. They are very out of touch with day to day operations.

Great camaraderie amongst colleagues and awesome learning environment. Shifters aren't compensated any more, so advancement is difficult as an RVT, since there are so many employees with similar roles.. If you start as a kennel assist/ vet/nurse assist then yes room for growth. Overall good company, corporate so if there are ever any complaints, you'll go through a loophole to get it resolved.

If you get sick and have to go on l...
