Aside from my passionate and hard working coworkers, the lovely dogs and our clients....
We all dreaded it. Our pay was always incorrect and we were forced to work alone and understaffed.
While our customers were always satisfied and extremely happy, our district manager was always screaming at our store manager about numbers and telling us how terrible we were at our jobs. Drove all of is out when they changed our 50% comission to minimum wage. That was the very last insult we were hit with.
Not great, I don't enjoy my position anymore.

I was usually excited. It's still a retail job and there's going to be difficult customers, but if you have a passion for animals it's pretty cool to be able to talk about them all day.

I enjoyed going but having a consistent clientele is what made it better.
Thrilled to see my coworkers but hesitant because of the management.
