Askin too much of some one for what they pay.
Hydraulic Component Techcian (Current Employee) –  Portland, OROctober 30, 2017
They low ball their technicans. Ask way above and beyond for what they want you to do. Stressful situations. Bad pay, back stabbing, conniving. The best part of working here is everyone but the management.

Okay place to work but need to get their act together
Delivery Driver (Former Employee) –  San Martin, CAApril 11, 2017
Day to day is pretty consistent and repetitive. Employees can be hard to deal with sometimes and it seems as if you do more than the job lists. You'll find yourself trying to satisfy the customers more than sales reps or parts sales reps do. Always hearing customer complaints and management doesn't seem to listen to what you have to say anyways and if your a truck driver any requests you have about maintenance for the truck is never full filed. You'll be waiting until the truck falls apart. Good pay and benefits but they say you can move up within this much time but it's all what you want to hear to grab you in . Not necessarily the truth . They just look for spot fillers. Not really looking for your best interests .
Pros
Pay, benefits
Cons
Short lunch, staff is bad, more can be fixed, broken promises

Do not work for marketing
Corporate Events Planner & Marketing Coordinator (Former Employee) –  San Leandro, CAFebruary 20, 2017
The marketing department is seen as the joke of the company, and with good reason. The director is gone by lunch time, provides no support and takes the work of her subordinates and presents it as her own.
Pros
upper management is gone by 2, so you can leave early and nobody would be the wiser.
Cons
too long to list

Cat Equipment
Sales Manager (Former Employee) –  Springfield, ORSeptember 4, 2012
The job as a whole was rewarding.

Some parts of management were on top of things but others didn't seem to have a firm direction as to how they wanted to accomplish certain goals.
Pros
great customers
Cons
no firm direction
