Agreeing with the ASM at MI, life at Pet People should always be fast paced because there is always something to work on whether it be assisting customers, office work, or, when there seems to be extreme downtime- dusting the store! There is never a day to be wasted standing behind the registers or conversating- Pet People Experience (PPE) is often delivered in a subtle manner.

Always fast paced. You need to assist every customer and engage them in conversation. When you're not doing that, you need to order inventory, or unload trucks, complete returns, work with local shelters, answer phones, clean and stock products. If you're not doing something to keep yourself busy, someone will find something for you to do!
