12 hour swing shifts rotating between days and nights and you're expected to work your limited off days if listed as on call.

The 12-hour swing shifts are rough and take some getting use to. Its nice because you are off more, but the constant switching form day to night isn't very healthy. Different sites may handle hours differently.

Worked 5 days a week but had to work 7 days a week hardly anytime off. Load a full (8 cars a day) rack in the heat cold rail sleet and snow.
