Great benefits, lots of room to grow
Manager, Engineering (Current Employee) - Rocky Mount, NC - September 29, 2023
Great benefits, lots of room to grow, pace of change is slow, site management typically out of touch with the floor, decision making not always well supported by data.

We’ll looked after
Scientist (Current Employee) - New York, NY - September 25, 2023
Benefits are great, good opportunities to progress if you have the desire to. People in general are nice, if not over worked- hard to bond with others when they are all under so much pressure

Stable company
Document Control Specialist/Team Lead - Contractor (Former Employee) - Rocky Mount, NC - September 23, 2023
This was a contracted, fully remote position. The tasks were straight forward, there was no micro-managing, very few meetings and flexible work schedule. Unfortunately, it was not a role that turned into a full-time position, but there was an opportunity to have my contract extended.
Pros
Wfh, flexible schedule, no micro-managing
Cons
Low pay

To many people there super long
Planah (Former Employee) - Andover, MA - September 20, 2023
Stuck in the past and if you don’t have 15 plus years seniority you don’t matter no one listen to you. So not much will change till you rid the old timers just collecting a paycheck not wanting to change

Good place to work
Prodution Worker (Former Employee) - Terre Haute, IN - September 20, 2023
Good place to work. Employees were looked out for by the company. Some people got away with a lot that no other company would have put up with. Good pay.

Jobs at Pfizer
Productive
Production Operator (Current Employee) - Rocky Mount, NC - September 20, 2023
have been working at Pfizer for 6 months and am just now seeing all the hate against management and the way the company is run on the production floor. People aren't respected but are just made to seem like they are and are just pushed in every direction with no clear vision in sight. Coming in on your day off to go work on a different production line is very frustrating and then you have to deal with rude people on those lines. I do appreciate the pay and the benefits but the mental health hit you take and how it makes you feel just ultimately doesn't seem worth it in the long run. Also moving to a different position seems quite difficult so if you aren't happy with what you are doing, the only real option seems to be quitting. The company has potential and could be better but unless you are in an area outside production you will likely end up with frustration and anxiety. I am upset that this is the current situation because I wanted to move up and grow with Pfizer but the production floor seems built to knock you down to the ground.

Was a great company, but became way to political
Sr. Manager (Former Employee) - Collegeville, PA - September 17, 2023
No work/life balance, they started calling it “work-life integration” and left it to the employee to figure out how to have a life. Sr Management “just take care of it” mentality.

Great company but slow career growth and mixed culture.
Senior Associate Scientist (Former Employee) - Andover, MA - September 15, 2023
Some departments have great culture, others not so much. Did not experience the level of professionalism from the recruiters as expected. Overall great company to work for, with many high caliber people and GMP integrity is baked-in. You need to leave the company in order to move ahead in career.

Progressive and innovation are top priorities . Great place to work!
Senior Assembly Technician (Current Employee) - St. Louis, MO - September 14, 2023
The beginning work was very well organized and informative. The expectations were made very clear and concise. The expectations were understood. Employees were ask to state any concerns about safety conditions that would affect employees. We were also ask about what would make production methods better and efficient. Throughout the day supervisors would monitor workers and ask how they we’re doing. All injuries and unsafe conditions were addressed immediately. Rewards and acknowledgments of good work were made known to all employees including management. Overall Pfizer was one of the best companies I worked and didn’t realize until we were sold to a smaller investment company. They really take care of employees that are loyal. Great severance packages.
Pros
Takes care of employees.
Cons
Overtime can be a bit ridiculous at times.

Director
Director (Former Employee) - New York, NY - September 13, 2023
Lack of top down direction, fear of pushing back, 12 hour days, weekend work, they are tracking in office attendance and low vacation allotment. Decent benefits and comp is fair though lacks transparency.

Minim wage Guard
Security Guard (Former Employee) - New Jersey - September 7, 2023
Cannot understand how an international billion dollar pharmaceutical company does not offer payed holidays to Security Guards working at corp locations. You are told to either work the day or take the day off without pay. The salary is a little above min wage so you really don’t have a dedicated work force.
Pros
People
Cons
Minimum wage

Many opportunities for Growth
Sr. EHS Specialist (Current Employee) - McPherson, KS - September 5, 2023
Pfizer has committed to allow colleagues to purse their passions and allow for growth. Management has recently gone through a restructuring to allow for safety to be at the forefront of their business. There mindset if that if we don’t have people here to work, then we can’t get product out the door. They have an unsafe work/stop work mentality, meaning that colleagues have the power to stop work in the event they feel unsafe doing their job. They have excellent benefits in not just their pay, but other free services that are perks for health and well-being for the colleagues.
