First of all you have to enjoy the type of retail store you are working in and have fun with what you do but always be professional. I have been around golf for 17 years so i have a good understanding of golf and different products. I would make sure that the store is neat and presentable for customers at all times and make sure that other associates bring smiles to all our customers while waiting on them. I enjoy this when I am in stores myself. Knowledge of what you sell is important so associates need to have a good understanding for maximum selling.

Not enough sales staff on the floor to help customers and make sure the floor looks great. For the most part corporate is understand if the floor looks shopped. There is a difference between being messy from customers and associates not doing their jobs.
