A productive workplace with unique opportunities!

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Firstly this is a startup company so varied hours is kind of expected and the general benefits you'd expect at a larger company just do not exist. Despite this I found working there to be largely enjoyable, the culture was great and I pretty much enjoyed working with everyone there. It's great to be a part of a growing company and I believe mostly everyone in working there had that outlook whether their character shows that or not.

Pros

Relaxed Environment, Very Accepting, Open to Improvements

Cons

Lower Pay (it is a startup), Lacking Some Guidance

Great place to get a fresh start

I came to them during Covid as a production floor worker and was able to move up reasonably quickly to an engineering position with my skills and knowledge even though I didn't finish my degree. Management wants to move people into the best position they can and will make spots for people if they can make enough work for it. Granted it's also very much a startup so compensation and benefits are on the lower side and work/life balance can be more difficult to manage if you have a hectic life. The company as a whole tries to constantly make the job easier for everybody working and accepts ideas for improvement from everyone in every position. If you want a fresh start after Covid then I recommend giving them a shot.

Pros

Company Luncheons, Accepting Environment, Upward mobility

Cons

Work/Life balance, Compensation/Benefits

Not bad

Fist job I've had in a while that management invest in their people and listen to them. Flexible work hours and the ability to leave work to take care of appointments or important personal events. If you actually show you can work, they'll take care of you.

Pros

Free lunch

Cons

Expected to work

Great Company Culture!

Going from a high-stress job to working at a company like this is truly a breath of fresh air. The management wants you to succeed and excel, and strives to promote from within. They are quick to recognize where they can improve and want to elevate their team to do the best they can. The upper management seems to value humility and tries to set the example. They are always willing to help and take care of things. Very flexible and understanding when emergencies come up.

Pros

Free lunches once a month, good environment, great coworkers, good work-life balance

Cons

Smaller company so they don’t have the same resources as a bigger company.

Innovative Startup with a bright future

Phase Ortho is an innovative startup with room to grow and improve. Their management team and culture are two of the best parts of working here. The culture is laid back and goal oriented, with lots of room to learn and grow. Promotions happen internally often and everyone is given an opportunity to step outside of their comfort zone and submit suggestions/solutions to better processes. It’s not all fun and games, and while Covid-19 took a bit of a toll on the company as a whole, they’ve taken it all in stride. I would recommend Phase Ortho to anyone who is looking for stable employment with a sense of purpose and involvement in delivering a quality product to customers.

Pros

Monthly All-Hands Lunches, Internal Promotions, Learning Opportunities

Cons

Great Culture That Invests Back Into Hard Workers

I've been at Phase for just over a year and have already had opportunity to advance in my career. The culture is one-of-a-kind, and there are no bad apples in the group. As employees show skill in certain areas, management works to move them up into positions that suit their personality and abilities. Members of management/engineering are always willing to help out production if there is a particularly busy day. As part of the engineering team, there are always efficiencies and improvements to be made, which makes for an exciting work day. Every member of the team has grown dramatically in their skillset in a short time. I love my job and rarely hear anything negative from anyone, production or management.

Pros

Catalyzed Growth, Exceptional Culture, Transparency

Too good to be true.

Laid back management, decent pay, free lunches once a month, and somewhat of a relaxed work environment WILL fool you. Very shady to work for, not reliable (they hire and fire like crazy) If you’re looking for more of a temporary job, this is the job for you.

Pros

Free lunches 1x month, relaxed work environment.

Cons

No job security.

Not a reliable job at all.

They always hire 10-20 people and once they are no longer needed (around 2-3months after hire) they are all fired. It’s very hard to work for them not knowing when you may be suddenly cut off. They have lots management issues

Pros

Free lunch

Cons

will change your shift from 3rd to 2nd to 1st whenever they see fit. Very unreliable

Very stressful , horrible training , managers never around

If you want a career-job this is not it. Will hire you Monday , lay you off Friday , and rehire you a month later like nothing happened . They almost ran out of business countless times and the minute it might happen again they will fire you. Example , they hired 15 new people full time , kept them around for like 4months . When they lost a client , they were all out in a group firing session. Fired almost all previous employees that worked before COVID. Just to pay the new employees cheaper. Great job if you are a teenager who’s not worried about job security or making a career. Ask any previous employee.

Pros

Free monthly lunch

Cons

Non reliable, never know when you might get “ laid off “
