Fast-paced work environment for pre-med/pre-PA/pre-nursing student
Written by Medical Scribe (Former Employee) from Milwaukee, WI on March 23, 2018
great job, learned a ton about emergency medicine and medicine in general, very stressful in the beginning, requires NOC shifts, some physicians were rude/inconsiderate and others were amazing (always willing to answer questions or help a scribe learn)

PhysAssist corporate has very little to do with the day-to-day going-ons of a scribe. I travelled - more ... to Forth Worth, TX for scribe training (now they have a location in Chicago, IL for scribes in the midwest to attend). - less
Proslarge pool of scribes makes getting a shift covered pretty easy
Consvery strict on attendance, no sick days, no insurance (back in 2013)
