Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We're sorry you had an unpleasant experience working at our NC billing office. Physicians Endoscopy acquired Frontier Healthcare in early 2017. Going through an acquisition integration can be challenging and there were changes that impacted the whole group - some positive and some negative. The decision to close the office was beyond difficult and was not entered into lightly. PE provided retention incentives, advanced notice of the office closure and support for people to stay during a difficult transition time.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Making the decision to close the NC billing office was very difficult and was not something PE took lightly. When a company acquires another organization, there are transition activities that occur in many areas such as corporate culture, policies, benefits and management changes. With a full HR team in PA, we didn't need a local HR resource physically in NC.
All claims are investigated timely and fairly. Anonymous claims are always tricky, since we don't have the ability to appropriately circle back and close out the results with those individuals. We encouraged employees to come forward, without fear of reprisal so that we can investigate in an appropriate manner.
When we closed the office, we provided each person with a separation package to help ease the transition of unemployment or switching jobs. In that process, we followed federal regulations under the ADEA (Age Discrimination in Employment Act) and the OWBPA (Older Workers Benefit Protection Act), which includes releasing a list of position titles and ages held by each position. No names were shared.
We wish you the best.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. We are very pleased to hear you're happy working at PE!
Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. Employees are encouraged to share their concerns and thoughts directly with their manager or anyone in human resources. We want to help - come and talk to us! Your feedback is always appreciated.
Yes, we are growing. And yes, we have growing pains. PE is on a very positive path with coming up with innovative ways to scale our business, improve processes and technology and create some clarity on roles and responsibilities. We have new senior leadership and we have revamped our office space to accommodate growth. We have a beautiful new open-office space that's pretty cool! We continue to look at our business to come up with new, creative ways to improve in all areas.
Thank you for your feedback. Glad to hear you had a positive experience in our NC office.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. PE is a fast-paced, growing company and our environment isn't for everyone. However, you will be challenged and never bored! We wish you the best in your future career opportunities.
Thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback. We are thankful for your positive words. Our compensation package includes base pay, bonuses and a variety of benefits (i.e., generous employer contributions toward health & retirement plan, half day off for birthday, vacation and sick time) that round out the total rewards package.
In terms of personal development, although we are a smaller organization compared to larger healthcare employers, we promote from within and have had over 50 promotions to date in 2018.
We have recognized we need a more formalized training and development function and are currently in the process of hiring for that role.
We wish you the best!
I am a current PE employee and 100% agree with the statement above. PE is a great place to work.
Thank you for your feedback! We love to hear positive comments and we're happy you're happy.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We're sorry you had a negative experience. Billing is our largest department and has specific metrics that need to be met to make sure we're appropriately serving our centers. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service. We realize errors will happen and unfortunately, the impact could equate to loss of dollars if claims aren't collectable. We try to utilize mistakes as learning opportunities.
Since last year, we have added additional training resources in billing to improve the onboarding and training process. Additionally, we are hiring a Learning & Development Manager to take a look at training across the organization and to make improvements where needed.
We wish you the best!
Thank you for your candid feedback. We're sorry you had a negative experience and hope you found a role that's better suited for you. As a company, we don't promote favoritism or mistreatment of our valued employees. The NC office is now closed, but we felt it was important to respond to your concerns. We wish you the best.
Thank you for your input. While the NC billing office is closed, we wanted to address your feedback. We would agree that during 2017 there were a lot of changes and challenges in the NC billing office. PE made it's best effort to try and improve workflows and communication based on employee input. We wish you the best.
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We are glad to hear you had a positive experience working for PE! We agree - PE has a lot to offer to employees and we continue to find ways to make the employee experience even better. We wish you the best!
Thank you for your input. We have to say, we are surprised at your comments regarding the pace. Often times we hear how busy people are and we respond that the environment isn't for everyone. We would suggest if you're not busy enough or challenged, please speak to your manager. We want to make sure your talents are best utilized!
In terms of the culture, we are very friendly, open and welcoming. We're surprised to hear that people aren't saying "hello" or "good morning". We would suggest you take the lead in those interactions. Positivity is contagious! :)
Thank you for your candid feedback and we're sorry it's taken us long to respond. What you describe isn't how we want to be portrayed. In the areas of concern you mention, in the last 18 months we have made improvements to company culture, work/life balance and training. We have to continually work on this to ensure we are retaining the best people.
In terms of making mistakes, we try to promote processes that reduce errors and improve our quality to provide the best service to our centers. We understand mistakes happen (we're human!) and hope employees know these are learning opportunities that will help them to further develop in their roles. We hope you found an opportunity that is a better fit for you.
