This company provides a lot of resources to help you succeed, but you must be very motivated in order to be successful. You have to work at least 40 hours a week to succeed, and this includes doing your own prospecting. Company is very ethical and does what it says it will do.

The initial training is a lot of information in a short amount of time, but you do become an expert at Medicare. Learning is an ongoing processes. There is always something new that you will learn daily Management is great. They are readily available for you to ask questions and throw ideas at Co workers are sometimes in the office but are available to help new agents and answer questions also The hardest part of the job is cold calling and getting appointments. But if you enjoy talking with people it really doesn't feel like work. If you enjoy talking with different people and learning new things daily, Physicians Mutual is for you. Great company and great people.

This office was extremely difficult to leave due to the amazing management team and the collaborative atmosphere of the agent team, senior and administrative management. It was easy to learn in this environment because the truth and desire to excel at understanding actual product benefits and the true differences in policies was not only necessary for success but a passion among the agents. Amazingly, it was almost a NEED of agents to make sure the entire sales staff knew these nuances and knowledge was shared with a vengeance.
Pros
top notch ethics and people, collaborative atmosphere, culture of thirting for knowledge and helping each agent know best practices
Cons
cold calling, uncertain income
