Beware
Quality Assurance Manager (Former Employee) –  Columbus, OHFebruary 8, 2018
Will make you think they are "elite" and "above the rest" as they plot and through you to the wolves the moment you disagree with them (meaning they will take everything personal and fight like adolescent children while the CEO takes walks on his phone all day). If that sounds like it is for you then, by all means, apply.

Piezosurgery is not a company with high integrity or regard for employees or customers alike.
sales (Former Employee) –  USAJanuary 22, 2016
Piezosurgery in North America is run by the son of the Italian inventor. He is a social misfit and has no business acumen. The company burns through sales managers and sales representatives. Treats employees and customers like they are expendable. This company is so out of touch with the market that they are self destructing. Thank god! They need to go away.Professional consultants hired to right the ship have even severed ties with this mess. An absolute disaster! Worst job ever.
Pros
Decent product
Cons
Captain of the ship and his cronies

Family-owned Medical Device Distributor
Vice President of Sales & Marketing (Former Employee) –  Columbus, OHOctober 5, 2014
Excellent products used for safely cutting bone near delicate anatomy.

Company is owned outright by the developer's son who has limited resources to compete in what has become a very competitive market. Unfortunately, they basically sell one product line which is at the high end of the market. Recently a number of well-marketed, lower-priced competitors have encroached their market.

The current people in the company tend to be quite passionate about the products and work together well.

As the face of the company for the nearly six years, I averaged over 2,000 miles a week and loved it. I enjoyed working with key opinion leaders, major hospitals and universities as well as surgical trade shows in the Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets.
Pros
Excellent high-end products
Cons
Market being overtaken by numerous low-priced competitors

Great Product
Recognized leader (Former Employee) –  Columbus, OHAugust 30, 2013
A typical day would involve following up on leads, visiting customers and surgery or hands on demonstrations.
Management was a little challenging. The sales manager was taking on too much other responsibility.
The hardest part of the job was the price point. My co-workers were great. We really worked as a team and helped each other.

The most enjoyable part was the travel and excitingness of trade shows, etc.
Pros
Travel, trade shows
Cons
Only carrying 1 prodcut
